Empowering recovery through structured housing.

Dual-Diagnosis Housing Platform

Comprehensive Care

AAHAA’s Dual-Diagnosis Platform is specifically tailored to serve individuals managing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This program provides gender-specific housing, with male-only and female-only facilities conveniently located in Auburn, Washington. The platform is designed to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where clients can focus on their recovery journey while receiving specialized care.

What sets the Dual-Diagnosis Platform apart are its comprehensive, in-house services. These include Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (DDA), and self-care skills meetings, all conveniently held within the housing facilities. These sessions are designed to foster personal growth, accountability, and peer connection. To ensure the health and safety of clients, medication is meticulously managed by a registered nurse who provides professional oversight and support.

Case management is another integral component of the program. Clients benefit from one-on-one guidance and support tailored to their unique needs, helping them navigate recovery challenges and achieve personal goals. Additionally, clients have access to psychiatric services through AAHAA’s partnership with A Walk To Freedom Counseling, a trusted organization specializing in mental health care and therapeutic support.

To help alleviate daily stresses, some staple food items are provided to clients, enabling them to concentrate fully on their recovery and self-improvement. Housing facilities are managed by a dedicated team of rotating staff who are present around the clock, both day and night. These staff members ensure the maintenance of structure, provide continuous support, and uphold accountability within the living environment. They also assist with medication administration and facilitate several weekly house meetings. These meetings create opportunities for open communication, goal setting, and fostering a sense of community among residents.
