AAHAA’s Family Platform is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of families seeking a stable, supportive environment during their recovery journey. This platform focuses on creating a safe and structured space for both single-parent and dual-parent families, ensuring that every member of the household has the opportunity to thrive. The Family Platform operates a dedicated facility located in Kent, Washington, conveniently situated near local schools, making it an ideal choice for families with school-aged children.

Each Family House facility is managed by a compassionate and experienced house manager who plays a vital role in fostering a sense of community and accountability. The house manager provides structure and support for daily living, ensuring that families are equipped with the resources they need to succeed. Weekly house meetings are facilitated to encourage communication, goal setting, and conflict resolution among residents, creating an environment of mutual respect and understanding.

To ease the financial and logistical burden on families, basic toiletries are provided to all clients enrolled in the Family Platform. These essential supplies allow families to focus on their recovery and personal development without the added stress of managing daily necessities.

Clients also have access to a wide range of recovery and life skills resources. Every Thursday and Friday, recovery and life skills meetings are held at the AAHAA office, offering tools and strategies for personal growth, parenting support, financial management, and emotional well-being. These sessions are designed to empower families to build strong foundations for their future.

In addition, the Family Platform provides peer-led case management services, giving clients the opportunity to work closely with individuals who have firsthand experience in recovery. These peer advisors offer practical guidance, empathetic support, and actionable insights to help families navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
