Loss
This blog reflects on the challenges of coping with loss, especially when it happens multiple times. The author shares that they have faced significant loss over the past couple of years, and while it never gets easier, they've realized that it's a common experience as they and their friends age.

What I do know is that loss affects us all. Loss can have a ripple effect in our lives and the
lives of others.

I’ve also discovered that I need support, and the best way for me to get what I need is by asking for help or reaching out to my support circle. I know that if I try to process it all on my own, I usually have some residue left over.
Question: Have any of you ever lost someone special in your life? Has it happened more than once? How did you walk through that season? Did you have support, or did you try to do it on your own?
I’ll tell you, I’ve experienced a lot of loss over the last couple of years. It is never easy, and it doesn’t seem to get easier. I was just speaking with a friend today and realized we are witnessing a lot more loss due to our ages. It kind of sucks! There often seem to be no answers or explanations as to why it happens—it just does.
