Hello All,

Have you had a hard time managing your emotions? Have you ever said something you wish you could take back? Or reacted in a way you wish you could change? Well, I’m here to tell you that managing emotions is one of the hardest things I’ve had to learn. And guess what? I’m still learning. A very good friend of mine told me not too long ago, “It sure is hard being a Christian.” Shortly after, he said something about grace.

It’s always easier to see things clearly when we’re on the outside looking in. However, when we’re caught up in our emotions, it’s like being in the middle of a bubble—right on the wave, if you will. If we think of our emotions as waves in the ocean, some really big (tsunami-sized) and some just a little choppy, we can learn to “ride the wave.”

If we allow those emotions to roll through us and remain still until that huge wave breaks, we’ll find calm afterward.

Personally, I’ve found that this approach works best for me. As I mentioned earlier, I’m still learning how to surf! If you need help or assistance, please feel free to contact us at 253-735-0665.

God bless you all!
