Empowering recovery through structured housing.

Traditional Housing Platform

Structured Recovery

AAHAA’s Traditional Supportive Housing Platform is designed to provide a stable and structured living environment for individuals in need of support during their recovery and transition journey. This platform offers a range of housing options, including co-ed and male-only facilities, strategically located throughout Washington’s Pierce and South King Counties to ensure accessibility and convenience for clients.

To help ease the challenges of daily living, staple food items are provided to residents within the Traditional Platform. These essential provisions are intended to support clients in focusing on their recovery and personal growth.

Each housing facility is overseen by a dedicated house manager. The house manager plays a vital role in maintaining structure, fostering a supportive community, and ensuring accountability among residents. They facilitate weekly house meetings, which provide a platform for open communication, conflict resolution, and collective goal-setting.

Clients in this program also benefit from access to a variety of recovery and life skills resources. Recovery meetings and life skills workshops are held every Thursday and Friday at the AAHAA office. These sessions are tailored to equip clients with the tools they need for personal and professional development, including coping strategies, time management, and financial literacy.

Additionally, peer-led case management services are available to all clients. These services are designed to provide guidance and support from individuals who have firsthand experience in recovery, fostering a sense of connection and mutual understanding. By incorporating peer-led initiatives, AAHAA ensures that clients receive practical, empathetic advice that encourages lasting change.
